Having lost a bet to Cody Graham, Jim and Kyle Lawrence were standing naked in the town square of Cupid, Texas, preparing to do their “stupid dance”. If legend is to be believed, after running around Cupid’s statue in the square a couple of times, they should then meet their true loves. They only hoped the sheriff didn’t choose this time to patrol here! But when they finished their run, chanting the words to make the legend happen, they found that Cody had stolen their clothes and disappeared!Shadow Wilson drove down the highway as her car started to smoke and flames licked out from under the hood! She was choking on the smoke when the car stopped moving. She jumped out, but forgot her laptop and suitcase in the back seat. But by now, the car was completely in flames. On the drive home, Jim saw the fire and put it out with his extinguisher. But the car was a total loss. He offered to drive her to town, but the Cupid Inn had been damaged the week before by a tornado, so she had nowhere to stay. The only thing he could offer was a place to sleep at his ranch! So now what would happen? She had come here to get a story about the Cupid statue. Maybe it just fell into her lap?

What a amazing story! You will find this story is beautiful, exciting, sexy, charming, entertaining and oh so scorching hot. This is a cowboy story that's a pleasure to read, it's well written and worth reading, you will not be disappointed. The story is about a gentleman rancher and a journalist. The story features Jim Lawrence and Shadow Wilson. Jim is very protective of his family, hard working and such a gentleman. He doesn’t believe in superstition or myths. But he lost a bet with his best friend/ future brother-in-law. So now he has to dance naked around the Cupid Statue at midnight, of course he doesn't believe that he will meet his true love. Because he lost his love once,now at thirty-five he’s unable to find a woman who he feels will fits into his world. Shadow is an eccentric, wacky woman journalist and as she is on her way to Cupid,Texas her car catches fire and her phone is dead, so she stands by and watches her car burn. Jim is on his way home after his best friend takes his clothes, when Jim see a car burning so he stops and rescues Shadow but he is unaware that she is there to do a story about the fabled Cupid Statue and that he will be the angle to her forthcoming expose. What a awesome page turner, I couldn't stop reading this story. I really enjoy when I can identify with the characters. This story is full of fun, romance and it seems so real. I became enthrall from the first paragraph. This is a fantastic read, it's full of sparks, sexual chemistry and the tension between Jim and Shadows , as they try and figure things out. I love everything about this stories. The characters are well developed and their chemistry is off the charts. This was a great romantic read. I highly recommend this book. It's worth every star that I could give this Box Set 5 stars. I voluntarily reviewed this book. Because I like sharing my thoughts with my fellow readers.
Cupid again does his magic. This time we get a little more background, courtesy of the reporter, Shadow, in town to find out more about it.
The road to love is a bit stormy and rocky, but winds up in HEA.
This series just keeps getting better and better, love all the hot and steamy scenes and interesting characters, bet these books would make a very entertaining movie or mini-series. Ooh la la!
Cupid, Texas there is just no place like it! If you are looking for a sweet, sexy, zany, emotional opposites attract small town romance you have found it!
After losing a bet to his best friend and soon to be brother in law ultra conservative Jim Lawrence is honer bond to do the unthinkable (the Cupid Stupid Dance) He ends up rescuing Shadow Wilson from her car that has caught fire just outside Cupid on the way home. (She is a writer looking to do a feature for a magazine on the Cupid Dance Legend) All kinds of fun happens in this entertaining look at small town love and family harmony. Looking forward to my next visit to this amazing little town where love is always in bloom.
Jim and his brothers lose a bet and have to dance around the cupid fountain. Drew couldn't do it right away as he had to be in court for several days so Jim and Kyle danced. When they were done, their clothes were gone. Kyle was near his vet office so went there. Jim had a hidden key for his truck and an old pair of overalls behind the seat, so headed home thinking of revenge on Cody.
On his way home he saw a car on fire and stopped. He git the fire out, but everything in the car and the car itself, was a loss. The owner, a young lady, stood there like she couldn't believe what just happened. He convinced her that even though at that moment he didn't look like it, he was safe and he'd take her to the ranch. All the while thinking about her being the first woman he'd been in contact with since the cupid dance. Name, it wasn't happening.
This is a cute story that will make you laugh, shake your head at this couple and make you want to sit them down and tell them what is what! Definitely a fun to read series. Now on to the next story.
